Determine Your Body Shape


            Determining your body shape is the first step to knowing how to dress in which your body looks best. There are generally four body types. It depends on your bust, waist and hip size. Stand in front of the mirror and measure your bust, waist and hip sizes.


Pear or Triangular Shape:
Pear body shape generally gain weight on rear and thigh. Bust and waist sizes are lesser than the hip size.
Apple or Inverted Triangle Shape:
Apple shape has broader shoulder. It gains weight on bust and waist. The hip size is lesser than the bust and waist size. Upper body is larger than lower body.
Hourglass Shape:
Hourglass shape has almost equal size in hip and bust. The waist is narrow than hip and bust. Hip and bust are in the similar proportion but waist is smaller.
Apple or Rectangle Shape:
The rectangular shape women’s have equal weight in bust, waist and hip. Their hips are less than 1-8 inches smaller than the hip and bust size.
